Wedding Photographer Hamburg: Prices & Packages

I photograph civil ceremonies, church weddings and celebrant-led ceremonies: from a compact registry office appointment to coverage of several parts of your wedding day.

My style is modern, authentic and emotional. Genuine encounters and the small moments between the big highlights of the day matter most to me.

Lots of couples feel that way. You don't need to know how to pose. During the couple portraits I give you relaxed guidance and make sure the photos still look like you.

Yes. During the wedding I stay attentively in the background and capture reactions, encounters and emotions just as they happen.

That depends on the parts of the day you want captured. For example, you can book just the civil ceremony, or add couple portraits, the drinks reception and other parts of the celebration. I charge for my packages by the agreed parts of the day, not by an open-ended number of hours.

My packages start at €750 for “Civil Ceremony Compact”. “The Yes Moment” starts at €1,500, “Our Story” at €2,300 and “All-Inclusive” at €2,700. Which package suits you depends on which parts of your day you want photographed.

Yes. In a personal conversation we can talk about your wedding, your wishes and the schedule. That way we can find out which coverage is right for you.

I'm based in Hamburg and photograph weddings all over Northern Germany: in Hamburg, Schleswig-Holstein, Lower Saxony and Bremen. There are no travel costs within Hamburg; outside Hamburg I charge €0.60 per kilometre.

Yes. The intro call, all the planning and the wedding day itself can be in English. That works well for international couples living in Hamburg or Northern Germany and for weddings with both German and English speaking guests.

Yes. A civil ceremony at the Standesamt is often the main event of the day, whether it's a small ceremony with just a few guests or the start of a big celebration. The “Civil Ceremony Compact” package is made for this.

I have been photographing weddings since 2017. It started during my studies in Hamburg, and since 2024 I have been accompanying couples all over Northern Germany.

Beautiful photos can happen in the rain too. Together we'll look for a suitable sheltered spot, make use of breaks in the rain or deliberately work the weather into the photos.

Yes. We can plan group photos in advance so that the most important combinations come together easily on the wedding day.

Yes, if these parts are included in the coverage you want. They often give you some of the most personal photos of the day.

Yes. You receive carefully selected, professionally edited photos in my style.

The finished, edited photos are the result of my work. RAW files are generally not part of the standard delivery.

You receive the finished photos digitally via a personal online gallery.

It depends on the package: at least 200 edited photos with “Civil Ceremony Compact”, at least 400 with “The Yes Moment”, at least 600 with “Our Story” and at least 800 with “All-Inclusive”. These are minimums; depending on how your day unfolds, there may be more.

You will usually receive your finished wedding photos within 2 weeks of the wedding in your personal online gallery.

I work with professional camera equipment and bring a second camera, so that a technical fault interrupts the photography as little as possible.

I handle your image files with care and back them up as part of my workflow. I'm happy to explain the exact process in a personal conversation.

Yes, you can use your finished photos for private purposes and share them with family and friends. The details of the usage rights are set out in our agreement.

Absolutely. Tell me which people and moments matter most to you. A short list of the group photos you'd like is also helpful.

If I can't cover your wedding myself because of a serious illness, I'll let you know as early as possible and do my best to find a solution. What applies in this case is set out bindingly in the contract.

Send me your date, the location and the parts of the day you'd like photographed. I'll check my availability and put together a suitable quote for you. When the date is firmly booked is set out in our agreement.

I want you to feel comfortable in front of my camera and be able to truly experience your day. I accompany you attentively and unobtrusively, help you during the couple portraits with natural guidance and capture how your wedding felt. You also choose the parts of the day that matter to you, so you don't have to plan your wedding around photographer hours.
